1992: United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) (Earth Summit or Rio Summit)

1995: Fourth World Conference on Women (Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action)

2002: World Summit on Sustainable Development (Johannesburg Summit, or Rio+10)

2012: United Nations Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20)

2013 – 2014: Open Working Group on Sustainable Development Goals (thirteen sessions), Intergovernmental Committee of Experts on Sustainable Development Financing (five sessions)

January – August 2015: Intergovernmental Negotiations (seven sessions)
